Wings for Lone Soldiers

Wings is the only social initiative in Israel operating for over 20 years, empowering and giving young people tools to integrate into Israeli society in an optimal way while helping them become independent and contributing citizens. Ariel Goldberg
“I realized that I wanted to immigrate to Israel and protect our Jewish home. As part of “Wings” I learned the rights of a discharged soldier, how to manage my budget and how to build a resume and get hired.”
Ariel met Wings in the citizenship preparation workshops, where he received guidance in his first steps in citizenship and enrollment in undergraduate studies at Reichman University. As soon as he finished his studies, he went to work at the Israeli Embassy in Uzbekistan and went as a messenger on behalf of the Jewish Agency to the University of Pennsylvania, where he promotes activities and content for the Jewish students throughout the year.

“When I was 15 years old I decided to immigrate to Israel
As part of Wings, I participated in a citizenship preparation course, this training helped me and brought me to the point where I am now. All the most important decisions in my life were made thanks to the guidance of Wings!
Today, I am finishing my B.A degree at the University of Haifa, volunteering at the “Big Brother” association as the coordinator of the Lone Soldiers Club in Haifa and planning to start my M.A degree.”
