Developing cities and towns require proper buildings, roads, and support systems to stay ahead of and encourage growth. The Merage Foundation - Israel is leading efforts to help organizations throughout the world to recognize the benefits of investing in infrastructure development projects in the Negev.

Likewise, the Merage Foundation - Israel is making its own investments in the development of the Negev. Dimona was the first city to be selected to benefit from this investment. A special program, including multi-sector projects, was developed in conjunction with the mayor and his team of professionals. As a result, the Merage Foundation - Israel invested in a physical beautification project and other projects that improve the quality of life of the citizens o In July 2007, the cornerstone was laid for Dimona's new Merage Medical Center which will provide local populations with access to higher-quality medical care and emergency medical services than are currently available.
